Associate Editor of the Journal of Object Technology
I am very happy to share that I have joined the Journal of Object Technology (JOT) as an Associate Editor.
The Journal of Object Technology is an established international journal for research in software and language engineering. Founded in 2002, JOT publishes theoretical, empirical, conceptual, and experimental research and places a strong emphasis on originality, significance, and technical quality.
JOT is also a Diamond Open Access journal: all articles are freely available to readers and there are no publication fees for authors.
Software and model engineering #
The scope of JOT is particularly close to my own research interests. The journal welcomes contributions on topics including:
- model-based and model-driven engineering
- software language engineering and domain-specific languages
- programming languages and paradigms
- software architecture
- requirements engineering
- software verification and validation
- software maintenance and evolution
- software analytics and development methodologies
More information about the journal and its scope is available on the JOT website and in the information for authors.
I am particularly looking forward to contributing to JOT in the areas of model-driven engineering, conceptual modeling, modeling languages and tools, and to supporting high-quality research at the intersection of modeling and modern software engineering.
I am honored to join the editorial board and look forward to working with the JOT editorial team, authors, and reviewers in this new role. And, of course, if you are working on exciting research in model-driven or software engineering, please consider JOT as a venue for your work!
