New PhD student joins my team
Beginning with March 1st, Syed Juned Ali (Junaid) joined my team at the Business Informatics Group of TU Wien as a new PhD student. Junaid previously worked as a software developer for Apple in Hyderabad. Junaid's application was supported by Kamalakar Karlapalem from IIIT Hyderabad whom I met at a Dagstuhl seminar several years ago.
Junaid will support us in an ongoing project. His PhD will be situated in the intersection of model-driven engineering and artificial intelligence. First works on combining DMN modeling with machine learning are ongoing and promising.
